At the Home of Ryan Covington — A Limestone Trough Finds Its Place
At the home of Ryan Covington, the front courtyard unfolds as a lush and layered garden—filled with mature greenery, collected accents, and a natural sense of calm. The space already held its own presence, rich with texture and thoughtful detail.
To complement the setting, Ryan incorporated one of our antique 17th-century French limestone trough, paired with a set of iron spouts sourced from our collection. Now serving as a subtle water feature, the piece is nestled among the landscape—its timeworn surface and quiet patina blending effortlessly into the environment. The soft trickle of water from the iron spouts adds a layer of movement and serenity, enhancing the courtyard’s existing tranquility without disrupting its rhythm.
It’s always a pleasure to see where our pieces land. In this case, the trough and spouts feel as though they’ve always belonged—anchored in a garden that honors both beauty and restraint.
