Antique French Domvrena Red Marble Mantel

A hand-carved marble mantel, circa 1670. This elegantly carved marble fireplace mantel was removed from a chateau in Crissey, in the Franche-Comté Region of Eastern France. The mantel is made of Domvrena red marble from Burgundy, France, and black marble from Belgium.
